Nike Soccer Camp
Egida International proudly invites you to join Nike Sports Camp in 2020 and have the experience of a lifetime! You will be provided with multiple possibilities for practicing soccer at every level at one of the most prestigious summer camps. The expert coaching team challenges and encourages players to improve their skills and build their professional career path. All participants will receive 24-hour supervision in an inclusive environment and an extraordinary chance to progress and make professional connections.

The Charterhouse School, one of the top private schools in the United Kingdom, offers a rich sporting history and an important historical place in the creation of soccer. According to legend, the word “soccer” was first used by a Charterhouse School student who later went on to become an international soccer star.
Less than 40 miles from London, tucked away in the Surrey County countryside, the Charterhouse School’s sprawling gothic buildings take you back to its beginnings in the 1600s. Its extensive sports facilities offer multiple opportunities for players.
FC Chelsea Soccer Program
Players have up to 31 hours of football training, games, and workshops per week. They work on technique and form through coaching, skills challenges, and games. All players receive an individual coaching assessment and certificate to take home. Players train grass pitches and astro-pitches and they are able to use tartan athletics track and a golf course.
The coaching curriculum is designed and delivered by Chelsea FC Foundation and is one of the world’s leading soccer, education, and community programs. Students are challenged to improve their individual skills in technical, physical, psychological, and social aspects of player development. On-field coaching is tailored to the level of the individual and focuses on skill development through demonstration, practice, and feedback.
Students grow as team players and friends in an international environment. Participants will leave camp with better understanding of their play and higher levels of confidence.
After-Sports Activities and Excursions
The school offers soccer and cultural excursions in combination with different educational and practical sports activities.
Players spend the day training with coaches at Chelsea FC’s Training Centre in Cobham after receiving a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility. Players will enjoy an end-of-camp celebration at the stadium, including prizes, workshops, and a special guest speaker lecture. The Training Centre hosts weekly competitions against other foundation teams.
Players take excursions to Bournemouth Beach and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Players who stay 13 or more nights visit Nike Town on Oxford Street and explore the celebrated football destination. Players then embark on a guided walking tour of London’s iconic landmarks such as Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.
Students also visit the old seaside town at Bournemouth with a seven-mile stretch of sandy beaches. Students can tour Portsmouth Harbour by boat and can view famous warships such as Lord Nelson’s flagship used in the Battle of Trafalgar. Players can spend their time in the designer outlet shopping center after reaching Gunwharf Quays.

Accommodation
Mostly single bedrooms, some double rooms. Mostly en-suite bathrooms, some shared. Three nutritionally balanced meals and an evening snack are provided each day. Specific dietary requirements, such as vegetarian options, can be accommodated.
