Rafa Nadal Academy

Egida International is proud to take you to the Tennis Academy owned by one of the top tennis players in the world, Rafael Nadal – who transformed his own training grounds into a high-performance tennis center.

The Rafa Nadal Academy is located in the city where Nadal was born – Manacor, the second largest city on the island. The location of the Academy is ideal, only 30 minutes from the Palma de Mallorca international airport and 10 minutes from the coast and pristine beaches. Together with his team, Rafa Nadal has created a unique methodology based on the experience he acquired through playing in the ATP circuit. Toni Nadal is the director of the experienced Academy coaching team. Some of the coaches at the Academy have accompanied Rafa along his career, such as former world’s no. 1 tennis player Carlos Moya – the technical director of the Academy.

This Academy offers students the chance to pursue their tennis passion with players from all over the world, have fun with new friends, and prepare themselves for future challenges and tournaments.

Summer Tennis Camp

Players at the Summer Tennis Camp will improve their technique, physical fitness, and on-court skills while enjoying multiple leisure activities in the unbeatable surroundings of Mallorca.

The program develops the winning mentality of players, which allows students to not only increase their tennis technique and knowledge but also understand how to become persistent, independent, and self-driven players. They will also receive training in handling the pressure of everyday practice, and how best to successfully push their physical and mental limits.

The program also aims to educate participants through sport with entertaining practical activities that comprise the Building a Champion program. Players will receive lessons on nutrition, fitness training, and values such as hard work, humility, tolerance, patience, respect, and integrity.

Proper nutrition plays an important role in the lives of athletes. The Academy features a nutritional program that is based on different plans according to the stage of training and development. The implementation of each plan is constructed with the coordination of a team (coaches, physical trainers, physiotherapists, psychologists, and doctors), ensuring that students have all necessary nutrients at any given time.

After-Sports Activities and Excursions

After very intensive trainings, players can enjoy their free time individually, or participate in recreational activities (paddle boarding, boat trips, etc.). All students will visit the Rafa Nadal Museum “Xperience,” which offers an important educational and didactic component. The museum’s experiential spaces represent aptitudes and values that transcend just the world of sport. The camp also includes competitions between students on Saturdays, and will conclude with an organized BBQ dinner and trophy presentation.
