You may even recognize parts of Oxford which are featured in Harry Potter movies.

Oxford Royale Academy

Oxford Summer School 2020 offers a wide variety of subject areas, from STEM courses such as Medicine, Architecture, Law, and Computer Science to the arts. Space is limited for each course.
SAT Preparation
This program is dedicated to helping students improve their SAT scores. It includes general advice on exam techniques with specific focus on Math, Reading, and Writing. The program is taught in small classes to ensure that students receive individual attention. At the start and the end of each session, students complete a full diagnostic test with SAT-style exam questions.
In addition to preparing for the SAT, students will get valuable cultural experiences studying abroad that SAT programs in the US cannot provide. Students will live and learn in a diverse environment in a prestigious location with peers from around the world.
The SAT Preparation summer course at Oxford Royale includes the following key features: 1. Small class size; 2. Over 40 instructional contact hours; 3. Diagnostic tests; 4. Practice tests and mini-timed sections; 5. SAT questions for vocabulary, reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar and math.
Students attend morning sessions on General SAT Prep, before attending afternoon sessions on Math or Reading & Writing.
City Tours and After-School Activities
Students will enjoy Oxford Royale’s famous extra-curricular options, including dance workshops, tours of Oxford and its museums, themed parties, punting in Oxford’s rivers, excursions to attractions around the UK, and much more.
Through landmark excursions and free time in the evenings, students will become acquainted with all that Oxford has to offer. Students will be visiting some of the UK’s top tourist locations (i.e., Blenheim Palace, Cotswold Wildlife Park, and the Tower of London in the previous period).

Accommodation
Students reside in comfortable single or twin rooms at the Queen`s College dormitories and utilize en-suite or shared bathrooms. This type of accommodation is standard for undergraduates studying at the university, so ORA students get a taste of university life at Oxford.
Eligibility & pre-requisites
-Must meet age requirements
-Must be fluent or near-fluent English language speakers
-Must be able to complete the basic program requirements (i.e., attendance, assignments), though students should check the prerequisites of each course option before enrolling.
Tuition fee includes:
- 20+ hours of minimum tuition/week
- Residential accommodation
- Full board
- City tours and after-school activities
Tuition fee does not include: airfare; travel and health insurance, miscellaneous expenses.
Note
This course requires no previous knowledge and will be useful both for students who have taken the exam before as well as those for whom the exam is new.
